Step 9 Gunna

As-salaamu-a-laykum…

Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem                                      

Gunna = the sound emanates[comes] from the nose. And it is stretch same as stretch in ‘small mad’ in reading. practice required.

1)There is always ‘gunna’ in ‘meem mushaddad’

  

2)if there is ‘baa’ after ‘meem sakin’ then do ‘gunna’ example

 

3) if there is  no ‘baa’ after ‘meem sakin’ then do not do ‘gunna’.

4) There is always ‘gunna’ in ‘Noon mushaddad’.

5)if there is ‘noon sakin’ or ‘tanween’ comes before”waw mushaddad”  or “yaa mushaddad” then  do ‘gunna ‘ in such a way that all the sound  not only come from nose but also come from mouth ,sound come from nose and mouth, practice required.

6) if there is no Halki or throat alphabet  after ‘noon sakin’ or ‘tanween’ then we do ‘gunna’ in ‘noon sakin’ or ‘tanween’.means if there is “throat alphabet” after ‘noon sakin’ or ‘tanween’ then we do not do ‘gunna’.

7) if there is “baa” after ‘noon sakin’ or ‘tanween’ then we change ‘noon sakin’ or ‘tanween’ to “Meem” (when ever you see these type of word you always see small ‘meem’ written in the middle of ‘noon and ‘baa’ in Qur’aan). FOR 1 SECOND WITH gunna
