Step 6 Alphabet Maddah

Alphabet  maddah = these are three type.

If the previous alphabet of ‘waw’ sakin has ‘pesh’ then it is called ‘waw maddah, previous alphabet of ‘alif’ has ‘zabar’ then ‘alif maddah’,and If the previous alphabet of ‘yaa’ sakin has ‘zer’ then it is called ‘yaa maddah’.

= waw maddah , =  alif maddah ,   = yaa maddah,

‘Alphabet  maddah’ is stretch same as stretch in ‘small mad’ in reading.

These above three are stretch same as stretch in ‘small mad’ in reading.

The word is regularly used in qu’aan .if we see this it  is look like “alif maddah” but it is never  to be stretched , means it is read always.

Waqf = there is no change in “Alphabet  maddah”.means read as in stretch.
