This sign written above the Arabic Alphabet is called “shaddah”.The Alphabet with “shaddah”

alphabet “s” in “dis-solve”.
SHADDAH (TASHDEED) (repeater) Doubled cosonant It is an indication of double consonant e.g. in

IF ANY OF THE LATER OF THROAT HAVE TASHDEED THEN PRONOUNCED

If alphabet has jazm or sukoon and alphabet after that is

next alphabet that has tashdeed.if alphabet waw and yaa has tashdeed and noon
sakin in the middle ,then make the sound of noon from nose.
when a letter with sukun (jazm) followed by a letter having
shaddah (Tashdeed) then the letter with sukun will be silent
or
if jazm or sukoon
come before shaddah (Tashdeed)
then the alphabet with sukoon will be silent.
If two zabar, two pesh, two zer meet with the “tashdeed
