Alif Zaid




Until you do not learn the previous step do not begin the next one

You know alif long or alif maddah in Step 6 and its Example,if such alif is followed by alphabet with tashdeed or jazam(jazm) then alif is not pronounced example =darsa(do not read daarsa or don’t stretch like long alif )


(do not read waal,read wallaa).but some place in Qur’an has words in which alif is not pronounced even though the alphabet after such alif has no tashdeed or sukoon(jazm) this is called “Alif Zaid”. Symbol is “x” or “o”.Words with Alif zaid are
















These words will be found in  

Ayah = Aayaat = verse , Juz = para
 



























These are 6 words with “o” on top of alif are read when you (waqf) stop at that point, otherwise in continuation you will ignore alif.


Qawaareeraa(when stop), Qawaareera(when continue)

if we stop in reading where there is no point to (waqf ) stop ,then read 2 or 4 word previously then Continue. remember how to stop at that point (waqf rule).
