words in which alif is not pronounced even though the alphabet after such alif
has no tashdeed or sukoon(jazm) this is called “Alif Zaid”. Symbol is “x” or “o”.Words

Ayah = Aayaat = verse , Juz = para
These are 6 words with “o” on top of alif are read when you
(waqf) stop at that point, otherwise in continuation you will ignore alif.
Qawaareeraa(when stop), Qawaareera(when continue)
if we stop in reading where there is no point to (waqf )
stop ,then read 2 or 4 word previously then Continue. remember how to stop at
that point (waqf rule).
